🏁 ROUND 8 — THE FINAL ROUND 🏁MCCNI CLUB CHAMPIONSHIP 2026And just like that… our 2026 Club Championship is complete. 💙What a year it has been 🎉🎉🎉At the beginning of the season, with a new committee taking the reins, we genuinely didn’t know what the year ahead would bring. We had plenty to learn, plenty of ideas and, most importantly, a determination to listen to our riders and their families and make MCCNI a club people enjoyed being part of.Eight rounds later, we can look back on a season we are incredibly proud of. 🫶🏼There have been track changes, early mornings, late nights, sunshine, rain, mud and dust — sometimes all in the same day! 😂 But there have also been brilliant races, close battles, new friendships and plenty of laughs along the way.We’ve had the Easter Bunny, raffles, prizes, challenges, giveaways and plenty of craic. We’ve watched riders improve round after round, seen kids grow in confidence and watched families turn up week after week to support not only their own riders, but each other.None of it happens without a huge team of people behind the scenes.A massive THANK YOU to our track owners who have put in countless hours preparing, changing and maintaining tracks; our medics NI Sports Medics Ltd who have looked after everyone throughout the season; our flag marshals who stood out in every kind of weather; our officials and committee members who kept race days moving; and every person who quietly stepped in and helped whenever something needed done.A special thank you to R Plaice Millisle for keeping everyone fed throughout the season — often after some very long days! 🍔🥤To every single sponsor who supported MCCNI this year — whether you sponsored a round, a class, prize money, Rider of the Day, a holeshot, donated prizes or simply offered help when we needed it — THANK YOU. Your support allowed us to give so much more back to our riders and we genuinely appreciate every contribution. 👏🏼👏🏼And finally, to our riders and their families…Thank you for turning up. Thank you for supporting the club. Thank you for your feedback, your patience, your encouragement and for trusting a new committee to take MCCNI through the 2026 season. 🥰We haven’t got everything perfect, and we’ve learned plenty along the way, but every decision has been made with the same aim — to build a club where people want to race, where families feel welcome and where our riders can enjoy their sport.For some, today closes another chapter in their racing journey. For many, we’ll see you back behind the start gate in March 2027 — with a fantastic year’s experience under your belt and plenty to be proud of.From that first gate drop at Magilligan back in March to our final chequered flag at Seaforde today… what a year 💙🏁Thank you for being part of it 🏆Class of 2026 — that’s a wrap 🎬MCCNI - Hard to beat, impossible to ignore. 🏁
